our story
Palmetto Veterans in Agriculture was created to address the unique challenges veterans face when transitioning into civilian careers—particularly in agriculture. Recognizing both the skills veterans bring and the barriers they encounter, PVIA was established to provide structured training, mentorship, and long-term support. Our mission is to empower military veterans through agricultural education, training, and business development opportunities. We envision a thriving agricultural community led by veterans who are successful, resilient, and connected.
our goals
The Palmetto Veterans in Agribusiness is an initiative established by Project Victory Gardens to encourage and support Veterans in Agribusiness.
Increase access to agriculture and knowledge of agricultural practices for transitioning service members.
Provide workforce readiness opportunities for service-disabled veterans.
Facilitate connections and increase outreach between veterans and veteran resource organizations.
